Overview
The Trion CAE 128 Electronic Air Cleaner is a commercial - industrial air cleaner.
Maintenance
Periodically the dirt collected by your unit must be removed. The frequency of washing will depend on the amount of dirt present in the air. In most areas the collecting cell should be washed about every 12 weeks.
Steps For Washing:
1. Switch control switch to "off".
2. Remove pre-filter and cell.
3. Slide the ionizer collector cells out of the unit.
4. Replace pre-filter from the cell.
5. Clean the ionizer/ collector cell and prefilter by rinsing with hot water. Then immerse them in a good commercial grade detergent mixed with water (make certain the detergent will not harm aluminum or cause any residue build up).
*NOTE*
For best results, the cleaning solution should be 120 degree to 160 degree temperature. The components should be soakedin the solution for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
