I own TWO Commercial Console TRION Electrostatic Air Cleaners, purchased from SEARS Surplus in the late 70's. One ran for almost 30 years until the motor slowed and froze up. There are no lubricating openings on the motor. It is probably because it runs as a vertical shaft orientation. I searched the Internet for a replacement UNIT and determined TRION has dropped all models for home use, concentrating on duct type installations or industrial devices only. I found the PICTURE of my motor on this website. The motor looked identical except for a lower shaft endcap that was missing in the illustration. I ordered the assy. The unit shipped was a retrofit kit. The motor was different, and the blower blades are plastic vs. metal. There was a complete drawing enclosed that stated the motor had not been available since early 90's. It had complete wiring and mounting instructions. I have not yet mounted the assy. Assuming it fits, it should be satisfactory.
