Trion 439057-037 Model 38 Percipitator. This is a 150 CFM model with 3" Flanged Inlet, flame arrestor and 240 volt 1 phase power supply. It is also knows as an IMP 38 mist eliminator. The Trion Type Imp 38 Industrial Mist Precipitator is a two stage, dual voltage, electronic cleaner designed to remove particulate matter from gas.

The percipitator when applied to liquid particulate matter, is self cleaning to a degree. The run-off of collected material provides a cleaning action. Periodically the components should be inspected and cleaned. To Remove Components: Disconnect primary cable at fitting on power pack, Remove access panel. When removing and placing it down, be careful not to deform the high voltage contacts located on the underside, Pull components from cabinet, Place on smooth flat surface to avoid deforming, Any coatings of contaminant build-up on ionizing blades can be removed with a small amount of solvent applied to a cloth. Stubborn coatings may require removal with a very fine emery cloth, used carefully.
