Trion FM1000E Electronic Air Cleaner Self Contained Ceiling Mount Style. Affordable operation– because these units recirculate indoor air, there’s no expense to reheat or cool air. And the FM 1000E features a Forever Filter® that never needs to be replaced; just clean, dry, and reinstall. Service indicator light– indicates when unit is due for cleaning or when there is a power supply failure. Additional odor control– the optional charcoal after-filter helps control airborne odors. Super effective air cleaning– the optional remote discharge allows wider separation between intake and discharge areas. This means more effective air cleaning.

Periodically the dirt collected by your unit must be removed. The frequency of washing will depend on the amount of dirt present in the air. In most areas the collecting cell should be washed about every 12 weeks. Steps For Washing:

• Switch control switch to "off".
• Remove pre-filter and cell.
• Place components in automatic dishwasher, stationary tub, shower stall or over floor drain. Use hot soapy water and rinse thoroughly. As an aid to drying, rinse with clear, hot water.
• Allow components to dry thoroughly. (ionizing wires are easily broken. Handle cells with care).
• Replace pre-filter and cell.
• Close cell access door.
• Switch control switch to "on".
• If arcing noise occurs due to wet cells, turn switch off and allow more drying time. If there are any problems refer to the owners manual.
