Cleaned out my furnace filters on my Trion HE 2000. The pre filters were clogged and filthy, and then when cleaning the cells I saw two broken wires in one, and that looked bad to me. I could also see damage to one edge of the cell like someone had dropped it. So I ordered a new one, which arrived quickly and voila! it is all up and running properly. Proving that a 63 yr old wise, but electronically challenged, woman can do these things without a pro charging me for a simple fix.

Replacement for original cell purchased in 1994. New unit seems not to be constructed as durably as original. Seems to work effectively and corrected the problem I had with the old cell. Wish construction was as sturdy as the old unit though. Hope it holds up to cleaning cycles.
